Quotation A fee is payable for this initial survey and, subject to site viability, a price per kilolitre can be quoted for potable water supply. Initially we require certain key information about your area and water needs. A survey quote will be supplied within 14 days of receipt of initial information. Seadov uses GREEN energy generated on board from natural energy such as wind, solar, tidal, wave power and therefore overcomes the negative impact of desalination when using electrical power generated by CO2 producing fossil fuel. Seadov vessels are typically purpose built and, for each site, the on-board natural energy systems are then selected to reduce costs and configured to optimize output of potable water. Seadov Pty Ltd can generally offer its produced potable water at a competitive unit price per kilolitre and does not typically sell its plant and equipment for clients to operate. In most circumstances Seadov Pty Ltd will fund the entire deployment of a Seadov vessel and charge the local water authority on the basis of an agreed contracted price per megalitre for an agreed annual minimum to maximum volume and for a pre-agreed term (typically 20 years) Seadov vessels are capable of utilizing most established
alternative energy systems; however energy systems chosen for
installation are based upon the prevailing conditions at a given
site. For example a particular area may offer excellent wind energy
prospects but little useful tidal current.
